Worlds - History Simulator » Devlog
Worlds 0.3.3 is finally public!
The game is still currently only available on Windows. But now there's a 32 bit version for those who can't run the 64 bit version (still, 64 bit is the recommended one).
Here's a very short overview of all changes since 0.3.2:
- Added Biome (and region) modding
- Added Layers and layer modding
- Added Discovery modding
- Added a few new discoveries (through modding) and a new activity (fishing)
- Added drainage basins and rivers
- Added map editor tools for layers and drainage basins
- Reworked world regeneration algorithm
- Reworked map rendering to separate overlays from map and add shader effects
- Added a 'Base' mod and a sample custom mod with extra biomes and layers
Please let me know if you encounter any issues!

My game won't update for me. Is there a way I can fix this? I'm stuck in 0.3.2.1
You need to download the new zip file. There's no auto update. Also, you need to make sure to unzip the file into a new folder. Do not overwrite your old game folder or it won't work.
Finally :D
Is there somewhere we can easily submit crash logs and bugs?
You can send me an email at drtardigrade2020 -at- gmail.com with the report
this looks great!
how can I mod it?
Go to the mods folder and open the 'base' folder. Here you'll find a series of .txt files explaining each of the mod files.
I suggest making a copy of the 'Base' mod folder. rename it, and start playing with it. You can also use the 'WeirdBiomesMod' as an example. If you have more specific questions you can open add a new thread in the community forum and I'll answer with more details.
