Reworking Territories
This past weekend I worked on territory formation changes. The intention is for territories to cover not just the cells occupied by tribal populations, but also any set of unoccupied cells fully enclosed by those populations. This hopefully will solve the current problem with territories appearing full of holes within them, mostly caused by the rivers that cross through the middle of those territories.
This change will also allow me in the future to implement territorial claims, which will be necessary to add kingdoms. With claims, kingdoms can expand their territory over neighboring unoccupied, or even tribal, lands.
In any case, that's far in the future. Right now I will continue working on making those territorial holes disappear. Hopefully I will have it finished by the end of this week.
